When Jaguar XKE (E-Type) was firstly introduced in March 1961, it only had a price tag of £2097!
Famous names like Jackie Stewart, George Harrison, John Surtees, George Best, Donald Campbell and many more had a Jaguar XKE, and some of them still own it till this day!
March 2011 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar XKE. It was half a century ago that the Jaguar XKE was introduced to the public in the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.
Celebrations will be held all over and as soon as more information comes in, more celebration locations and events will be posted!
There is one major event celebrating Jaguar XKE 50th in the UK on August 7 at Rockingham Castle.
